The Legal Hammer Already Dropped

Maxwell has served more than five years of her 20-year federal sentence for sex trafficking minors with Jeffrey Epstein. Every branch of government has shown they want to see her serve the full term. In November 2024, the U.S. Second Circuit firmly rejected her latest appeal and left no doubt that the conviction and sentence would stand. Maxwell has one last hope: a petition to the U.S. Supreme Court. But as of July 2025, the Court hasn’t agreed to even hear her case, and the Supreme Court almost never touches these kinds of appeals in time to matter.
